I’ve often said if we could put Hope in a bottle and market it; what would it cost? The obvious answer is, it’s priceless! If there is any one thing our world truly needs today, it’s Hope! Hope for a better future, a hope for peace on earth and good will toward all mankind, hope for healing of our planet, in our hearts and in our minds and in our bodies. Hope always points toward the future allowing us to believe things will get better, just don’t lose Hope. As Christians we speak of the rapture of the church and pray it happens soon but truthfully the word rapture is not recorded in our KJV bible, but the words Blessed Hope, (the return of our Savior for His church) are (Titus 2:12-13). The word hope is recorded 129 times in the bible but perhaps one of the most read verses is I Corinthians 13:13 “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” The bible teache
s us faith works by love (Galatians 5:6), but the truth is where hope does not exist, faith is not needed (Hebrews 11:1). Lose your hope and you lose it all! You see my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Hope is an eternal gift of God and has the ability to carry us all the way through life, (Hebrews 10:23).
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” (1 Peter 1:3-5).
Keep the Faith my friends, but never let go of your Hope in God!
