If you love to listen to music and the many different styles of gifted voices. Regardless your choice of genre, it’s when talented voices begin to come together in harmony, that gets the attention of our ears.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our Spiritual, (sight, hearing, and speech), all became One. Well, the truth is, all too often they do, but for the wrong reasons. When we become emotionally overwhelmed, our senses quickly begin to amplify, and then fearfully, our audible, visual, and speaking senses react in such a way that our entire body becomes out of our control.
Why? We are out of Spiritual sync. Our entire body belongs to the Lord and desires to be glorified in all of it. I Corinthians 6:19-20 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Here is just a small sample of the Spirit of God working in our lives:
- Mind – What we continually think on, we become, Proverbs 23:7. Let the mind of Christ be in you, Philippians 2:5, and to think healthy thoughts, Philippians 4:8.
- Hearing – Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing, by the word of God”. If we have ears to hear, listen! Matt. 11:15, Rev. 2:29.
- Speaking – If we confess with our mouth, Romans 10:17; If we say unto the mountain, Mark 11:23-24, and Proverbs 18:21, Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
- Seeing – Matthew 6:22, the eye is the candle of the body. I John 2:16, speaks of the dangers of lustful eyes. The Apostle Paul prays for our spiritual eyes to be enlightened, Ephesians 1:18.
When our thought life, (soul) which includes our mind will and intellect, becomes spiritually aligned (in sync) with our hearing, our seeing, and our speaking. Then our physical bodies will begin to manifest the health we all need, namely peace and wellbeing.
