In John 14:1 Jesus began speaking to His disciples after telling them He was going away, and His disciples became deeply troubled, the Lord spoke these words, “Let not your hearts be troubled you believe in God, believe also in me.” By the time we reach verse 6, Thomas has stated; Lord, we do not know where you are going, and we do not know the way. Jesus immediately replied to him in the 6th verse saying, “I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes unto the Father but by me.”
The way – not just any way, but the right way to live our lives. The way to happiness, joy, and real success in life. The way to abundant living and realizing that it doesn’t matter as much what this day has in store for you, because you now know who holds the day you now live in!
The way – not just any way, but the right way. Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way that seems right unto man but the end thereof are the ways of death.” It is a real fact my friends, the Lord truly knows the way that leads to life, and would love to show us it’s path, Psalm 16:11.
The way – not just any way, but the way to raise our children, to love our spouse to live together in a chaotic world as brothers and sisters. A way to overcome, and now just be overcome by the things of this world, Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.”
The way – not just any way, but Jesus is the ONLY way that leads to life eternal! His words were clearly stated; John 14:6 “No man (mankind), comes to the Father, but by me”. The choice is ours and there is no other way to live in peace and joy forever without Jesus, Act 4:12.
